ATTENTION! You will notice the pins are shorter than your older flat pins just like the KUSA revised pins that they were using as part of the fix for the KUSA recall. That is 100% normal and plays a key roll in HELPING preventing OOB issues. You will also notice that when you push the pin flush at the back of the bolt it will NOT protrude out the other end even with the plunger fully depressed. The Revision of KUSA's and mine relies on the momentum from the hammer striking it to shove it into the bolt to allow it to protrude. If you want to test for protrusion you will need to fully compress the plunger and use something like a punch to manually push it in to allow it to protrude out.
With my pins I added in and addition feature so that you can eliminate one....By that I mean you will no longer need or need to use the little thin spacer between the pin. You will just need to use the spring. If you get light primer strikes either your bolt is out of spec or you need a stronger hammer spring. If your bolt is out of spec we have a bolt inspection option for $285.00 so that you can send in your bolt to me to work on to correct it for you.
