Just a heads up everyone that prices have increased on the pins do to the market drying up. With little demand left for them the runs will be much smaller which means it cost us a lot more. This will be our last run of these pins. Sorry for the inconvenience!
I have come up with some another small improvments on the FP's! The 1st ones were made to the same specs as the KUSA revised pins. Our V2's, V3's, & V4's are the same length as the V1's as well. The origonal flat pins that came in the KP-9/KR-9 were known for OOB issues & they were to long and were piercing primers do to the length.
You will notice the pins are shorter than your older flat pins just like the KUSA revised pins that they were using as part of the fix for the KUSA recall. That is 100% normal and plays a key roll in HELPING preventing OOB issues.
The Revised KUSA pins and the KD Gunwerx Pins rely on momentum as the hammer strikes it, and as the plunger on the bottom side compresses when in battery to allow the pin to protude out. It will NOT protrude by simply pushing the pin flush with the bolt & its JUST enough to strike the primer.
With the V3 pins (AND NEW V4 PINS) you will need to discard the spacer between the pin & ONLY use the spring, as you will no longer need it. You will only be re using the spring.
